HolisticFitness.tv’s philosophy is one based on a holistic approach. We look at the whole picture when it comes to health.
I've spent that last 20 years living a holistic lifestyle and helping other do the same. It's been with this holistic approach that I've had the greatest success with clients.
You see our bodies thrive thru an inter-connected systems that feeds and supports the whole. Unfortunately this system is often overlooked in the health and fitness field.
I've divide this system into four parts or four pillars.
1. Mind(set).
2. Nutrition.
3. Recovery.
4. Movement.
The H-Fit Method 4 PILLARS of Health

Mindset

Nutrition

Fitness

Recovery
These four pillars all play together to create a true foundation for lasting health. Which I call Holistic Health. It's with these four pillars that I help people achieve sustainable health. Without falling into the yo-yo dieting trap.
I want you to picture these four pillars holding up a base, a foundation. This foundation is where you get to create your life, your health, your body. Each one of these pillars is of equal importance and value to your health.
This is where most people, programs and coaches fail you. They usually only focus on one or two of these pillars.
Imagine trying to build beautiful home with only two pillars holding up the foundation. How long do you think that will hold up before something goes wrong?
Pillar 1
Mindset
This pillar like the rest plays a huge part in overall health. Its your right mindset that gets you started and its your right mindset that keeps you going.
I provide you with proper mindset techniques that incorporate neurolinguistic programming, self hypnosis and neuroplasticity protocols to help re-wire your thought patterns, habits and emotions to allow you to reach your goals and to create the live you deserve.
Like I mentioned above some methods I use:
• Peak Performance Integrative Coaching
• Mindset Coaching
• Self Hypnosis
• Neurolinguistic Programming
• Mediation
• Goal Setting and Planning
PILLAR 2
Nutrition
There are a lot of things we can’t control in life. But the one thing can control is what we eat. That is a lot of power in your finger tips to mold our your health one bite at a time.
When it comes to diets I promote more of an ancestral diet also known as traditional diets. One that is rich of healthy fats, animal products (grass-fed, pasture raised, organic and wild caught), fresh organic vegetables, fermented foods, herbs, minimal grains, and very minimal processed foods. I also promote against eating foods that have chemicals and/or artificial additives.
Some diet and nutrition methods I use with clients (and myself):
•Paleo Diet
•Cyclical Keto Diet
•Carb Cycling
•Fasting
•Fast Mimicking Protocol
pillar 3
Movement (Fitness)
I say movement because the word fitness is too limiting. Within movement you have weight lifting, mobility, animal locomotions, martial arts and much more. Our bodies are designed for movement. The more you move the healthier you will be. Physically and mentally. There is a saying that sitting is the new smoking. So make sure to get out and move daily…
Some methods that I use with clients (and myself):
•Weight lifting
•Plyometrics
•Calisthenics
•HIIT Cardio
•Aerobic Conditioning
•Mobility
•Animal Locomotion
•Combat training
•Powerlifting
Pillar 4
Recovery
Recovery methods play a huge part in health and fat loss. It's one of the main pillar that often gets overlooked.
I believe its the missing key to help stubborn fat-loss, injury prevention, and hormone balance.
In general recovery methods are meant to help you recover from training, stress, bad diet, lifestyle, and life's stressors in general.
Whatever methods you choose the strategy should be the same. That is to allow your body to recover to function better mentally, and physically the next day or next training session. This ultimately means putting your nervous system in a balanced state...
A glimpse of some of the methods I use and recommend:
• Get enough sleep, at least 7-9 hours a night.
• Hot baths with epsom salt a couple times a week.
• Meditation
• Light Yoga (yin yoga and/or yoga nidra)
• Mobility
• Sauna
• Slow long walks (30 minutes)
